Retinol Skincare Beauty Regimen!
We are often asked how our products should be applied. Which product should be applied first, or last? We hope the following information helps you with your beauty regimen!
Step 1, Cleanse.
Cleanser is a must if you have oily skin, but some dermatologists say that those with extra dry skin may be able to just get by with misting their face with water or toner. We recommend our Retinol Cleansing Milk Lotion for gentle cleansing, or our Retinol Facial Cleansing Lotion with AHA for a more thorough cleanse. Follow up with Retinol Facial Toner. Those with extra dry skin can skip directly to the toner.
Step 2, Hydrate.
Think of Retinol Vitamin C Face Serum as extra nourishment for your skin. Our serum delivers a concentrated dose of hydration and antioxidants that a moisturizer just can't. Hydration-delivering humectants, like glycerin, aloe vera juice and botanical extracts help pull moisture into your skin, to keep it hydrated and happy.
Step 3, Moisturize.
Daytime calls for a light lotion. Use a moisturizer/sunscreen combo such as Retinol Ultra Skin Care Crème Day Defense. The UV-blocking properties of sunscreen can prevent other ingredients from reaching your skin, so sunscreen should always come last. Sunscreen active ingredients are meant to not be absorbed, but stay on top of the skin. If you're using a separate moisturizer and sunscreen, use our Retinol Ultra Skin Care Crème first, and then layer the sunscreen on top of it.
